At CRL we meet lots of Year 6’s going off to High School and understand it can be daunting moving on. For many, it will be the first time travelling to school on their own using public transport. We want to share an exciting offer from Northern which may make it that bit easier!
Northern are giving a free ticket to Year 7s and an accompanying adult to be used to practise the train journey from home to school. Northern hopes this helps build pupils’ rail confidence in this next big step.
If your child is taking the train to school every day, it may be worthwhile investing in an Education Season Ticket. Students can get up to 40% off their train fare. It also reduces the stress of buying tickets in the morning school rush. With an Education Season Ticket in hand, they’ll be good to go!
