Brownies

Cambridge Street Brownies visited the bunker this week to learn about different careers in the rail industry, a tour of Accrington Eco station and a rail safety talk.

The session started with a visit from the British Transport Police. The Brownies learnt about the role of the BTP and how they keep people safe. The girls also had a chance to try some of the uniform, sit in the police car and some were even handcuffed!

The session also included a discussion about the different jobs in the rail industry with more dressing up! We also discussed how to stay safe by a railway and on a train followed by a tour of Accrington Eco Station.

It was a action packed evening!
