Members of the TrainEd team headed to Swansea on Monday 18th March to celebrate the national Community Rail Awards 2024.
Some of the team headed to South Wales earlier in the weekend to explore the local area and spend some time catching up.
The ceremony was held at Swansea Arena and over 800 people from the world of Community Rail attended. Community Rail Lancashire was shortlisted for a number of projects.
The team were delighted to scoop first in: Feel Good Field Trips, Arlo’s Adventures There and Back and Travel with the Green Team. They also got a second for East Meets West. Other projects were shortlisted including: Try the Train and By Train to Clitheroe Castle.
Community Rail Lancashire was where the Education Network was born and we were delighted to gather members together for a celebratory photograph on the night – this of course only represents a small number of all the current subscribers.
