A group of Year 9 pupils from Crewe took part in the latest Feel Good Feel Trip this week.

The pupils caught the Avanti train from Crewe to Liverpool Lime Street before heading to the Pier Head area of Liverpool. They had a tour of the Liver Buildings including a 360 degree view across the city. The pupils enjoyed spotting the football grounds of Liverpool and being shown some of the history of Liverpool from behind the Liver Building clock faces. They then had lunch at the Fab4Cafe at Pier head before a journey on a ferry across the Mersey. While on the ferry they heard all about the different parts of the history of the Mersey as an important area for trade across the North of England. Finally, the pupils enjoyed a walking tour of the Albert Docks, Liverpool One and Matthew Street before catching the Avanti train back from Liverpool Lime Street Station to Crewe. What a fantastic day was had be everyone.
