On the 6th March, the 2500th student enjoyed a Feel Good Field Trip. The project funded by Avanti West Coast aims to take out up to 5000 students on a fun and educational day out at venues across the West Coast Main Line.

The trip that marked this occasion was a visit to Liverpool with 30 Y3 pupils from Beechwood Primary School in Crewe. The group travelled by train to Liverpool Lime Street then had a tour of the Royal Liver Buildings, lunch at the Fab4 cafe and a cruise on the Mersey Ferry. Dave Savage who facilitates the project was presented by a certificate to mark this occasion by Andy Mellors – Managing Director of Avanti West Coast.
