On Thursday 5th October around 1000 Y11 students from all the local high schools in Hyndburn attended a careers event at Accrington Stanley football club. The event was hosted by Amazing Accrington with Cranberry Coaches and the Town & District Transport Trust providing free travel for the students at from 6 schools.

Community Rail Lancashire had a stall to discuss career opportunities in the rail industry and promote Accrington Eco station. During the afternoon Danni who works for Avanti West Coast joined us to chat to the students about her role and how she started working in the rail industry.
