On International Women’s Day (8th March) the ‘100 more women,100 more jouneys’ book was launched at an event at Preston station. Karen had been working on this book after the success of the 100 women, 100 journeys book which was created during lockdown in 2020.
On Friday, staff from a wide variety of roles in the railway industry listened to readings of some of the stories in the community room and books were handed out to members of the public.
