A group of 30 children from the “Just Imagine” drama group embarked on an exciting adventure last week to Accrington Eco station followed by a train trip to Todmorden.

The day began with a hands-on workshop at the station, where the children engaged in role play and dress-up activities. Alongside the fun, they received an important lesson in rail safety, teaching them how to stay safe around trains and tracks—a vital skill for any young traveler.

For many of the children, this outing marked their first-ever train journey. The excitement was palpable as they boarded the train bound for Todmorden. Upon arriving in Todmorden, the group headed to Centre Vale Park, where they enjoyed lunch al fresco, surrounded by nature. The children then spent time playing and exploring the park, making the most of the fresh air and open space.
