This multi-partner project has now come to a close with the installation of a new artwork along the subway at Blackburn Railway Station, a series of celebration events and a presentation as part of the Community Rail Network webinar. It’s been a wonderful project that has included over 150 participants, 6 local partner organisations, 4 creative leads and a number of supports and volunteers. A wide range of activities were involved from creative workshops to journey planning and rail experience trips as well as poetry posters, an online album and a project film.
We’re pleased to be continuing to partner with the local champions of this project and would like to thank Department For Transport for funding to do this important work.
