Platforms for Change is a collaboration between Community Rail Network, Scouting and the rail industry. The aim of the programme is to engage and empower Scout groups across Britain throught community rail activity and rail confidence trips.
Our Community Rail Education Officer, Karen, has a group of Cubs she is working with in Calverley, Bradford. Last night they had their first session which included rail safety and careers. In the next few weeks they will be making bird boxes for a station and going on a trip on the train.
