This week the TrainEd team have been on a three-day first aid course at Bradford University with the wonderful trainer Helen Hogg. The team learnt how to attend to people with breathing difficulties, cuts, burns, brakes and much more! We very much hope that we don’t need to use our new knowledge and skills but in the event of needing to help someone in need we are now fully ready and prepared to do so! Despite it being a tricky subject and a lot to learn we had fun and had time to share some of our own experiences of emergencies along the way. We’ve been encouraged to share what we have learnt with others, so by all means ask one of our team how to put your arm in a sling or bandage your head.
Lots of smiles but much seriousness as well. Be alert and stay safe!
